It's amazing how quickly the snow melts when the temperature climbs. Yesterday we had 8 inches of snow on our front porch. Today it's hard to tell that it snowed at all. Tomorrow it should be sixty five degrees or so!
My daughter had a positive reaction to the movie "The Passion of the Christ" after seeing it last night. We didn't have time for an in depth review however. I'll have to wait till we can get together for lunch next week to hear the details. I'll let you know what she thought. It may be a while before I get to see it myself. I'm amazed that it is the hot topic of discussion at the salon these last several weeks as it is no doubt everywhere else.
Jesus always creates a stir wherever He shows up and in whatever manner of manifestation be it on the big screen or in an individual walking the street.

Friday
We new it would be a pretty landscape when we awoke in the morning and we were not disappointed what with upwards of 8 inches of the whitest, fluffiest powder this side of the Blue Ridge. Travel early in the day would be difficult at best so we just lounged around in our pj's all morning watching the local newscast go on and on and on about the worst winter storm in four years and please don't travel lest we all die on the side of the road in a ditch!
One of my favorite pet peeves every winter is the incessant ranting on such programs instilling fear in the local populace which is sometimes justified though usually exaggerated. When I finally got out of the driveway the roads were mostly clear except for some side streets. Ok, so much for the negative stuff.
How about something a little different. Say....have you seen "The Passion of the Christ" yet?
Me neither. Not so sure I want to but then I probably will simply out of curiosity. All of my evangelical friends will no doubt see it. My daughter and her husband will see it tonight as a matter of fact while Jennifer and I will perform babysitting chores for them. It will be interesting to hear their comments.
I just erased a whole paragraph of my own thoughts on the subject but decided that I had better wait to see it for myself before commenting.
Well, my 2:00 pm client apparently decided that the newscasters were right and that she shouldn't leave home and risk life and limb just to get her hair colored while I stare out the window looking at the black (not white) paved parking lot and street and lots of cars whizzing by. Guess I'll get to go home early.
Tomorrow should be interesting....see you then. (If you like, check us out at our home page
